BAAN TALAY RESORT – Reviews (Ko Samui/Chaweng, Thailand)

The newly built pool is directly facing the beach and actually you can enjoy the beach while in it. You may do laps if you are one of those people who enjoyed it but I personally came for the beach so I used twice during my stay. I have used the hotel’s only restaurant daily for lunch and food was very good, clean and cheap. Eggs as you want corner is a plus as well. The buffet breakfast variety for a three stars hotel is reasonable and satisfactory. This is considered to be the best accommodation offered by Baan talay hotel. Coming to the room, I have booked a beach front bungalow for 5 nights. Only three are available so I recommend you book early as they are booked fast. As the name indicates, the room is really facing the beach and I enjoyed every bit of the view. You can jump into sea side from your porch! The room also comes with tea and coffee facility for those who use it, safe and mini bar. There were two sun beds on the porch which came very handy during the visit. Bathroom came with a bath tub and shower and is quite spacious. Very basic and contemporary room setup.
