Spacious, clean, well kept rooms. Wonderful view of the sea from the balcony. Excellent location. Surrounded by family marts, 7-11’s, Indian restaurants, street food stalls. If you’ve decided to stay in this more peaceful and quiet location in Pattaya then you are spoilt for choice in the same building as this hotel and they all have the name Markland in them. With huge sparsely furnished rooms, old bathrooms, polished stone floors, flat screen TV and uncomfortable springy beds! Very nice people at the desk, easy parking, and clean rooms are a plus and so are the lowish prices always negotiable. BUT and a big BUT an extraordinary sea view balcony with very comfortable chairs. It’s an old building that needs to be fixed. It’s a no brainer for next time as the rooms are far superior and the balcony views isre exactly the same! The taste of breakfast isn’t very good. The breakfast isn’t very good but it’s ok. The room is big and you have sea view from your balcony. The room doesn’t have LCD TV. Staff are nice and they can speak English but not very good. The room TV is the old one. They get 100 boxes for deposit. Location is far farom crowded places and near the Beach. There’s a kettle in the room. It should be renewed. Good location. Staff very polite and friendly. Breakfast good. Pool was little but clean. Rooms are clean but not have facilities. I rented a 17th floor room over the holidays for a month,from an owner .Really good location everything close by,The room service is good,and a good selection of food,brought up to my room.Spacious rooms but needed new carpet.The location makes Markland a good choice! Beds are clean and comfortable.
