81-Year-Old German Man Crashes Motorbike and Dies in Pattaya
The accident scene was a curve in Soi 14 in the Naklua sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi. The victim, identified as an 81-year-old German national, who was identified only as Mr. Hans, was found dead in a pool of blood on the road. Pattaya Police and Sawang Boriboon rescue services rushed there after receiving a report of the accident. Inside the victim’s pocket was an undisclosed amount of cash, one smartphone, personal documents, and an ATM card. The police kept them as evidence. Han’s red Yamaha Nouvo motorbike rammed and got stuck in a metal wall. He was lying upwards and suffered critical head injuries. Pattaya Police told The Pattaya News that they had reviewed CCTV footage around the area and did not find any other parties involved in the fatal crash. Initially, it was presumed that the victim may have been driving at high speed and was unfamiliar with the road, according to the police. However, none of the footage captured the exact moment when the victim crashed into a wall, the police stated. Further reviewing of the CCTV footage is being carried out to determine the exact cause of the collision. The road was also very narrow and had an S curve, which may have caused the victim to lose control of his vehicle. Best quality entertainment and the most expensive area. The best guest-friendly hotels in Pattaya are located close to the top nightlife areas. The best of Central Pattaya is in the soi LK Metro – soi Buakhao – soi Diana area. It is also the best value for money area, excellent for a newbie (and for anybody).
Everything you need is within 100 meters radius – beer bars, go-go bars, restaurants… ’s budget. Soi 6 in North Pattaya has many ST (short-time) bars. The area is mostly known as a daytime hang-out. Very good guest-friendly hotel in a great location. LT – long time, all night; ST – short time, 1-2 hours; The prices are in Thai baht. Walking Street, beer bars, restaurants. Everything is within 2 min. Rooms are spacious, clean, and modern with a fridge, balcony, and excellent bathrooms. The new guest-friendly hotel (built in 2015) is right in the heart of the action on Walking Street and close to the beach. Sea view rooms are worth the extra money – fantastic sea view and quiet. The best mid-range hotel I’ve seen in the area. Everything is new – rooms, pool, and rooftop bar. The rooms are huge with comfy beds, LCD TV, and safe and free wi-fi. The deluxe rooms have washing machines.

Clean and modern bathrooms. The hotel has only 12 rooms, so better book in advance. New budget guest-friendly guesthouse on Walking Street in the heart of the action. Close to everything. Clean and quiet rooms with comfy beds, good aircon, fast and free wi-fi, LCD tv, safe and balconies. Huge and clean bathrooms. Baywalk Residence has a very good central location. Less than a five-minute walk to Walking Street, and a ten-minute walk to the soi LK Metro area. The VIP rooms are huge and have sofas and microwaves. The beach is just across the road. Small rooftop pool. Very friendly staff. Big, clean, and quiet rooms and clean bathrooms. Aya boutique hotel is located in a quiet soi but only a short walk to the main nightlife areas. Two minutes walk to the beach. Five-minute walk to Walking Street and less than a ten-minute walk to the soi LK Metro area. Nice and clean rooms and bathrooms. Strong wi-fi and led TV.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Honey Lodge is a hidden gem. Easy to get baht bus to everywhere (10baht). The rooms are clean with modern and stylish bathrooms and separate toilets. Fully renovated and super close to the Walking Street entrance, beer bars, and restaurants but in a quiet location. Good aircon. Very fast but not free wi-fi in rooms (50 baht a day). Lift and outdoor pool, English-speaking staff. 7-Eleven store nearby. Rooms are big, clean, and quiet with good aircon and free wi-fi. The P.72 Hotel has a perfect location in the heart of Pattaya nightlife, right on Walking Street. Clean bathrooms. The restaurant is a great place to watch the world go by. The staff treats you and your guests like a valued family members. It is an oasis located in the center of town. Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa is a very guest-friendly hotel and well worth the price. The action and nightlife are right outside the door.
