My daughter and I stayed there for two nights. When I raised the matter, they immediately shifted us to another facing the pool. We had booked a Superior Poolside room and were initially taken to a room at the back. The grounds are small, so the pool is not really easily visible if you are on the higher floors. Breakfast was a fairly large spread. Even had rice and chicken preparations for anyone wishing to have a full meal before steeping out for the day. Room was fairly large with a minibar and TV. It is not a fancy place, but it served our purpose as we were there only in the night. Located on Soi 1, the beach was just a five minute walk away and we were away from the madness of the other end of the Beach Road and Walking Street, which suited us just fine.There were many eating places near by within walking distance and transport was easily available.

Since traffic is one way, to go towards Walking Street/Pier you head to the Beach Road to catch a cab or other transport. Found the location very convenient and peaceful, also the hotel was safe. To go in the other direction, say to Sanctuary of Truth, you need to walk to the road on the left as you step out of the hotel – the Tiffany’s Show was a ten minute walk away on this road. On the downside, there is no free Wifi in the room though it is available in the lobby and restaurant area. The room had a hair dryer but no tea/coffee maker. The reception people were OK, but not fluent in English and there is a chance of miscommunication. No safety lockers in the room, but they give you a key for a locker which is in the reception area. All in all it was a good deal and there was no discomfort at any point. I would recommend the place if you are going to be out most of the time and don’t require too many facilities over the minimum required for a comfortable stay.

There is an outside seating area with table and chairs and overhead fan to keep you cool which is great for having drinks or dinner. The property is quiet with walls all around for complete privacy. There is a washing machine at the side of the house which is very useful.

The inside is spacious and modern with large comfortable sofa and kitchen area with everything you need. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom has a modern open plan shower with two adjustable shower heads. There are two smart TVs, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom and they both worked great. Air conditioners in lounge and bedroom and both worked very well and not noisy. There is a ceiling fan in bedroom. The WIFI is very good all over the property and never had any problems. Mo is very polite and professional and very responsive to messages and very helpful. Lots of cupboard space for clothes and an iron.
